We moved to PWS site! Yay!

On 8th January 2018, Monday, Pinner Wood School re-opened at its original site. The school's location had moved to the Harrow Civic Centre because there were chalk mines found underneath the PWS school. The experts did a thorough investigation and announced that the school was safe. They also said that they needed to fill the mines with cement. The amount of cement they filled was the same as 20,000 elephants or 9,000 double-decker buses.

So, for the spring term, we are back at the original site of PWS and we will stay here.

My journey to school was happy because I went in the H13 bus instead of the coaches. Earlier, I used to travel by coaches to the Civic Centre. Since we are back at the actual location, it takes lesser time to reach the school. I don't miss the coaches.

I felt great when I stepped into the PWS playground for the first time. I felt thrilled at playtime when I was playing Harry Potter with my best friend in the new playground. I am looking forward to have a nice time with my friends and move to Year 4 in PWS.

  1. Samyak is delighted to go to PWSchool again after a couple
of months. He has collected the information about how much
school authorities have taken pains to fill up chalk mines that
have caved in with lorry loads of cement .By doing so the safety aspect
of hundreds of students is taken care of.He is also excited to go the school
after it is reopened & time taken to commute is also considerably
reduced.Further he would once again like the company of fellow students
for playing in the new premises.--Have a nice time now onwards in your
    old Pinner Wood School.---Jijja.
